Do you wanna spend January 31st alone at home? No you wanna be with that guy you have a crush on. Now is your chance come to the Sadie Hawkins dance. The girls ask the guys and who would say no to you?
The dance will include fun dancing and singing to music with an amazing DJ. There will also be a lot of fun games to play if your not the dancing type. Games like spike ball, basketball, and volleyball will be such a fun way to spend your night. If your not in the mood for dancing our playing games go to enjoy the company of others. You can talk and laugh with your friends and even meet a lot of new people.
There is always a fun exciting theme for the dance. This year the theme is 80’s. So everyone go get your neon colors and leg warmers and get ready for a fun night of dancing, singing, games, and laughing.
Every year there is so much talk about the dance. From the freshman who don’t know anything about it and the seniors who are trying to get their lasts before their high school career comes to an end. The dance is full of all grade levels but is biggest for the freshman and sophomores. This is because the seniors get so busy and lose track of time but freshmen and sophomores have a lot more free time on their hands.
Eva Escobedo a senior states. “It’s a fun thing to do and a fun idea and every year there is so much talk about the dance.”
Talia Satriano a senior at Holy Family High School states “seniors are very nostalgic about the dance and the memories they made there they’re senior year.”
Matthew Evans, another senior states “I am so excited for this dance it is my favorite night of the whole year I will 100% be in attendance!”
Make sure your free January 31st so you don’t miss this exciting and fun dance at Holy Family (P.S. most teachers give extra credit for attendance).
