We are now nearing the end of the First semester here at Holy Family. The last day of the semester before finals is this upcoming Tuesday, December 16th. We then proceed to our three-day finals, which begin on Wednesday, December 17th, and conclude on December 19th. All Finals are an hour and 15 minutes long with a ten-minute passing period in between.
The first day of finals will start at 8:30 with the Science exam, then at 9:55 we will have the English exam, and we will finish the day with conflict exams starting at 11:20. Everyone will be done with that day by 12:35. The next day, we will again be starting at 8:30 with the Mathematics exam. We then have the Social Science exam that will start at 9:55. The last exam ends by 11:10, also ending that school day. Finally, we have our last day of finals, starting at 8:30 with the theology exam, which will conclude most people’s exams for the semester and mark the beginning of their breaks. However, we will have one more exam time, starting at 9:55, to accommodate those with conflicts.
We asked the students of Holy Family if they were stressed about finals. I got a lot of mixed reviews, from strict yes to strict nos to kind of for some exams.
One student said, “No, cause I’m senior year and I don’t really care cause I’ve already decided where I’m going to college, I just don’t want to have to study and make the information make sense.”
Another stuedent said, “Yes, cause it’s my first one ever, and I don’t want to fail.”
One more student says, “Not yet, but I know I will be over the weekend. It just hasn’t kicked in yet”.
