My favorite time of the year is here, NBA Playoffs are back and looking forward to the electric matchups about to happen.
To start we have the East. It’s a toss up of who wins this conference. The Pistons are the top seed but don’t seem to strong without Cade Cunningham. If the Hornets get the 8 seed there might be an upset in the first round as they are red hot coming into the playoffs. Hawks look good but are lacking a clear number one option, however they’re playing a heated rivalry against the Knicks. Celtics seem to be on the comeback and could make a surprise run with all the injuries to their stars.
The West will end up with some of the best series’ of all time. Regardless of who wins which series there will be good matchups across the board. The Spurs and Thunder will handle business first round but the real series’ will be between the Lakers, Rockets, Nuggets, and Timberwolves. These 2 series’ will be the most entertaining as the Nuggets Timberwolves series can easily go to 7 games with every game being close. The top 4 seeds in the west will all have cases to win the NBA finals, the Thunder had the best regular season but struggled had an even record against the next 3 seeds in the west. The Spurs are up and coming as they have had one of their greatest seasons since the Tim Duncan era and are looking to capitalize. The Nuggets are looking for another championship as Jokic is still putting up all time highs, and the roster for them looks healthy making it look like a promising run. The Timberwolves still look great as Anthony Edwards continues to elevate himself and his team. The championship is looking like it is going to come form the west this year and I’m excited to see what happens next.
