The NFL season is always an exciting and entertaining season to watch and track. As the 2026 draft is right around the corner, it can be good to know which teams are looking good heading into the 2026 season. There are so many good players in this draft class, which will drastically affect teams in both good and bad ways. As always, this list is subject to my personal opinion of who the top five NFL teams will be in the 2026 season, pre-draft.
5. Chicago Bears
It pains me to say this as a Vikings fan, but the truth is that the Bears have a very bright future ahead of them. They lost last year in the NFC divisional round to the Rams, but this is a very young team that is starting to figure out how to work together. After a rough start to his career, Caleb Williams looks very confident leading this team, and he has young weapons like Luther Burden III and Rome Odunze to help him out.
4. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs made big moves this offseason with the addition of Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker, who might be the missing piece of the puzzle for the Chiefs. They have always lacked a star running back, but with him on the team, they now have a MVP level quarterback in Patrick Mahomes, rising stars in Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, as well as a stellar defense.
3. New England Patriots
The Patriots lost in last year’s Super Bowl to the Seahawks, but this team will be back in 2026 for revenge. Drake Maye was playing at an MVP level the whole season, Trevyon Henderson had an awesome rookie season, and he will only improve, and they have weapons to receive the ball. Their defense also features superstars such as Christian Gonzales.
2. Seattle Seahawks
The defending Super Bowl champions are looking like to have another amazing season in 2026. They have the best receiver in the league, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, an amazing quarterback in Sam Darnold, but the best part of this team in their defense. With stars like Tarique Woolen, Devon Witherspoon, and Nick Emmanwori, this team looks almost unstoppable
1. Denver Broncos
But the best team next year will be the Denver Broncos. The Broncos had an amazing season last year, but the real reason they were not able to win the Super Bowl was that Bo Nix got hurt. If he is back and healthy, there is really nothing stopping this team. Their defense is full of superstars like Pat Surtain II, Nick Bonito, and Riley Moss. If this team can stay healthy and improve upon its offense, there will not be a team in the league that can rival it
