The March Madness masterclass has come to an end. With many upsets and exciting wins, it will not be forgotten. There were many highlights over the entire bracket.
Duke ends up choking once again. The Blue Devils were pushing through the competition all the way until the Elite 8, where they faced the UConn Huskies. Dan Hurley and the Huskies gave Duke a battle and ended up winning the game on a final, three-point shot buzzer beater. Duke had the National Player of the Year, Cameron Boozer, and was looking to go all the way this year.
A Cinderella run that will be remembered for ages is the Iowa Hawks. Iowa was rated as the #9 seed and was not expected to go as far. Iowa made it all the way to the Elite 8, where they beat #1 Florida and a good Nebraska team. They were looking to make it all the way to the final, but it got cut short due to a very tall and talented Illinois team.
The game that everyone was talking about was Arizona versus Michigan. This was predicted to be the best game of college ball throughout all of college basketball. Both were rated #1 and were looking to win it all. Everyone’s expectations were destroyed when Michigan came out and beat Arizona by 20 points.
The team that everyone has been talking about is the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan won the NCAA Championship, and it was not by luck. Michigan was a very skilled team, where they were led by three key players. Elliot Cadeau, Aday Mara, and Yaxel Lendeborg were the three key and highly skilled players who led this team to a championship. Elliot Cadeau won the Most Outstanding Player award for the Wolverines with a 19-point performance.
March Madness was filled with joy and thrill, and will be remembered as the best tradition in college sports.
