The time has come again for the tournament of the year for college basketball, March Madness.
On March 15, 2026, the brackets for the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments will finally be revealed. Selection Sunday is basically the most stressful day of the year for college basketball teams. All over the country, players and students will crowd around TVs, waiting to see if their team made it. Some schools will go crazy celebrating. Others will just sit there in shock after getting left out. But once the bracket is set, that’s when the real madness starts.
Two days later, the First Four games in Dayton will kick everything off. It’s four games, eight teams, and win or go home. For some teams, it might just be a quick exit. But for others, it could be the start of an insane Cinderella story that no one expected.
By March 19, arenas from Buffalo to San Diego will be packed and loud. The first rounds are always wild. Lower-seeded teams will try to pull off huge upsets, big-name schools will try not to embarrass themselves, and random players will suddenly become stars overnight. Every loose ball and every last-second shot will feel like the most important play ever.
Then comes the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight in cities like Houston, San Jose, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. The pressure will be even higher. One clutch three-pointer or one huge defensive stop could send a team to Indianapolis.
On April 4 and 6, the Final Four will take over Indianapolis. Four teams, one championship. Cutting down the nets would mean everything.
At the same time, the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament will build toward its championship in Phoenix from April 3–5.
