Q: What was your soccer journey?
A: I started playing when I was about 3 and a half. And I hated it, so I went to gymnastics and ballet and tried a bunch of different stuff. I then eventually came back to soccer, where I’ve just been ever since. So officially, I’ve been doing it since I was four fully. I played on a couple of different teams, but I never left soccer again.
Q: Where are you committed and why did you choose that school?
A: I’m committed to Tiffin University, and I chose that school because I wanted to be able to play on a team my freshman year. Allowing me to contribute to a team for all 4 years I am in college.
Q: What was the recruitment like?
A: It was very stressful and very difficult going to a bunch of schools and having to do my best all the time. It was quite tiring. Also, having to send so many emails to all the schools was very stressful. It was really fun when I finally did commit and was done with that whole thing.
Q: What are you most excited about for college?
A: I’m most excited to meet new people and to just continue my soccer journey because I’m definitely not ready to give up playing soccer just yet.
Q: What is your advice for people who want to play on a higher level?
A: This one’s hard. My advice is probably to just focus on you and make you the best person that you can be. Never give up, even when it’s tough, you still have to push through because there are gonna be a lot of tough days, but that just makes you better and stronger. You just have to trust that God knows what he is doing in giving you tough times, and you just have to go with the flow.
