Q: How long have you worked at Holy Family?
A: 15 years.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about working at Holy Family?
A: You kids by far. I love food. Food’s my thing, but you kids and the food, being Italian, having Italian blood, food is family,
and family is fun.
Q: Why did you choose Holy Family?
A: My kids all went here. I went here back in the day, and it’s where I chose my kids to go to high school. Once family, always
family. I was a student. I had kids here, and now my grandkids are here.
Q: What’s your favorite meal that we serve here?
A: Somebody asked me that earlier today. I’ve always had a soft spot for the chicken dinner. I do like the burrito bar. I just like
how it always looks pretty. It looks colorful, and if it looks colorful, you’re gonna eat it.
Q: How has Holy Family changed over the years, like, since you started here to now?
A: We have grown, and I have a way bigger kitchen since they spent millions of dollars on that kitchen, so I love the space. The
trust in me, because most schools don’t have the lunch program as we have here. They give me a generous budget to be able to
make good food, because that’s all I know. Mr. Gabriel’s grandma was my lunch lady. So I know how they did it, and I can’t
do less than that.
