On Wednesday the Nuggets faced off against the Indiana pacers and it was a good game for the Nuggets. The nuggets were coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Dallas mavericks of all teams. They started off hot that game and it slowly fell apart and they lost by 10 points. I was at the game and it was disappointing to say the least as the Mavericks are still missing most of their starting lineup and we still lost. and the cherry on top was when Jamal Murray left with a sprained ankle and did not return.
2 days later the Nuggets laced up against the Pacers with Jamal starting. Jamal came out hot and stayed there for the rest of the game. He delivered one of the most efficient games in the NBA all season. Murray made 19/25 shots and shot 10/11 from down town. Murray could not miss to say the least and his teammates knew it as they kept feeding him the ball all game. Murray lead the way to a 135-120 victory over the Pacers.
This is the Nuggets third player to score 50 points this season as Jokic scored 55 to match Shai as the highest scored points this season. Aaron Gordon scoring 50 points against the season opener Warriors and still remains the most efficient 50 point game ever. The Nuggets have 3 of the 8 50+ point games this season. However the west is still a stacked conference and they are only 5th in the west with a 15-6 record. This season in the west will play out very weird every team 1-6 is good even with starters missing. Oklahoma City thunder will for sure secure the 1 seed and 2-6 is a tossup between Lakers, Nuggets, Rockets, Spurs, Timberwolves. All of these teams are equally matched and I can’t wait for the playoffs to see how it will unfold.
