1. What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
I gotta pick a bunch of my siblings up at the airport tonight, tomorrow, probably gonna watch the new Stranger Things season with my siblings, and then on the actual Thanksgiving day, early dinner at my grandma’s, and just hanging out with my family at my grandma’s house, which would be really fun. I don’t know. The other days, probably go to the playoff game on Saturday, and I’m not sure about what I’m going to do on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday yet.
2. What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food?
Definitely mashed potatoes. Good, good favorite. Stuffing’s also up there. I’m a big fan of stuffing. Not a huge fan of turkey for some reason. Butter, butter says Cade. Um, probably some rolls. I don’t know, I like rolls, well, so I want my mom to make delicious green beans, so those are pretty good. Not a big fan of apple pie, believe it or not. I like pumpkin more, so, yeah.
3. What are your college plans?
Oh, I don’t know yet. Go try to study mechanical engineering. You don’t really know where yet. Probably my top choice right now would be Notre Dame, so if I know I get in there in mid-December, that’ll be cool. But yeah, looking forward to college, kind of over senior year. Can’t even get myself motivated to do any homework anymore. So that sucks, but it’s whatever.
4. What would your favorite pastime be?
Favorite pastime. Scrolling Instagram reels is a good, fast time. It’s my new favorite one. I recently discovered, but minus that. I honestly don’t know it. I mean, I like cooking for myself and I really want a huge big thing by, like, making stuff for myself, playing video games with friends sometimes, hanging out with friends, and then just watching TV shows, comedies, things like that, like The Office and Parks and Rec.
5. What is your favorite moment from this past cross country season?
My favorite moment would probably be my regionals race. It just felt really smooth the whole time, and I was super confident with how I was running, and our team put together a good race. We meant to stay, and it was just an enjoyable race, which is not usually the case. Sometimes they’re super painful, but this one I just felt like I was, you know, cooking the whole time and feeling smooth. So I had a lot of fun, and I raced well.
