The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 announcements

The Summer I Turned Pretty  has officially announced that Season 3 is coming in July 2025 and will be the final season of the show. The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 premiered last summer, on July 14, 2023. The series follows Jenny Han’s book series that turned into a now hit amazon-prime original.

The last book in the trilogy, titled We’ll Always Have Summer, picks up with Belly and Jeremiah in college and very much still in a relationship. However, not everything will be by the book. With the final season cover coming out it shows only Belly unlike the last two seasons showing the fisher brothers. Some thoughts that are coming about is that Jenny Han is going to not follow the book and Belly’s going to not chose any of the boys.

The Summer I Turned Pretty' author gives major update on new season“There are going to be surprises,” Han told EW. “There are the things that they know and then there are things they think they know, and then there’s going to be, hopefully, things that surprise them.”

The cast for season 3 is expected to be the main characters; Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno, portraying the Fisher brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah, respectively.  Sean Kaufman is Steven, Belly’s older brother; Jackie Chung plays Belly’s mother Laurel; and Rachel Blanchard portrayed the late Susannah Fisher, Conrad and Jeremiah’s mother, the “glue” that holds both families together. It’s possible that Blanchard could return as Susannah in flashbacks, similar to how she did in the final episode of season 2. Other cast members expected to return are Alfredo Narciso as Cleveland Castillo, Colin Ferguson as John Conklin, Tom Everett Scott as Adam Fisher, David Iacono as Cam, and Rain Spencer as Taylor. New faces that joined for season 2, like Kyra Sedgwick as Aunt Julia and Elsie Fisher as Skye, could also return.
