Even though Mary prefers sketching, she’s also a skilled painter.

The halls of Holy Family are decorated with beautiful artwork made by amazing artists. Junior Mary Le has taken art classes at Holy Family since freshman year, and her pieces are a direct reflection of her talents and passion for art.

Q: What about art are you drawn to? 

A: I love that I’m able to express myself on something as simple as a piece of paper.

Q: What piece of art are you most proud of?

A: Up till now my proudest piece of art from school is a project I did in my intro to art class freshman year. Outside of school, I’m most proud of a present that I made for my mom for mother’s day.

Q: What is your favorite kind of art to do? 

A: My favorite is sketching on a piece of paper.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

A: I get my inspiration from this things surrounding me and from nature itself.

Q: If you could visit any world famous art gallery, where would you go and why?

A: I would love to visit the Louvre Museum in Paris, because last time I went I didn’t get to go. The thought of seeing such timeless pieces in such  a beautiful place seems like a lot of fun.
