On February 15, 2023, the Holy Family basketball, poms, and cheer teams had Senior Night.

The girls basketball team, four senior girls walk the court. These girls were manager Vanessa Arambula, Gabby Altman, Fiona Snashall, and Mariah Quintana.

On the boys basketball team, seven boys walked the court. These boys were Ben Harste, Grayden Harkness, Eric Quintana, Rocco Bridges, Joey Coan, Caesar Morales, and Max Schlarbaum.

On poms, seniors Kristi Torczynski and Victoria Peterson looked stunning as they walked with their parents. On cheer, Matilda Warner, Madeline van Orman, Adyson Hill, and myself walked with flowers down the court.

After that, each team’s seniors got one big picture together. Shoutout to the one and only Tamara Van Dale who took the sports team photos and captured special moments from senior night.

Every athlete on these teams was accompanied by one or both parents, and Mrs. Van Dale was able to get some great photos of the families.

Mariah Quintana, had an amazing game. She scored 14 points for the Tigers in just four minutes, after working through a serious knee injury. Her major contribution to the game helped the Tigers to a substantial victory over Greeley West. The girls started out strong and never lost their lead.

The boys basketball game was also a victory, ending 72-30. Senior Rocco Bridges scored 16 points, the highest scorer of the game. Both of the Holy Family basketball teams made it to the playoffs, and the cheerleaders continue to support our players!

The next game for the girls is against Classical Academy, and the next game for the boys is Kent Denver. Hopefully both teams will take home a victory and make it to the state championship!
