Which side of the road do you cross for your Chicken?

By far the most heated debate in all of Holy Family is which is the best chicken place in Broomfield. In one corner on 136th we have Raising Cane’s and the other on 144th we have Chick-Fil-a.

Now there is no debate that they are both top tier but one is always better than the other. Now opinions in the Newspaper room are split with people both for and against each one.

Canes has many pros such as their bread — i.e. that marvelous Texas Toast — is un-matched, along with their iced tea which is top tier, and nothing comes close to their sauce in the entirety of fast food.  But they also have some cons. Many in the Newspaper room believe that a chicken place should have good chicken.

Mr. Yunt, an even bigger fan of the underrated Popeye’s is clearly on the other side, stating: “You go there for the chicken and the chicken is just not good.”

Bold statement old man.

But Canes also has some die-hard supporters like junior Rory Romano.

“Cause its more food and its just better,” he said.

Chick-Fil-A, at first seemed like the less popular choice due to their mid sauces and lack of bread. But as we took a vote people seemed to favor the Chick-Fil-A milkshakes and how the chicken actually tastes good.

To finally end the debate we decided to take a vote among the Newspaper room. And with a score of 9 to 5 Chick-Fil-A was deemed the better among the two, but what do you think
