Teachers’ Words of Encouragement

Teachers+Words+of+Encouragement

Nora Smith, Staff Writer

It’s been an interesting four years, to say the least. I, much as many of the other seniors, have many notable memories from our time here at Holy Family; experiencing Dr. Fabian’s mythology class (literally a fever dream), the Super Smash Bros. tournament, Monty’s forensics class, and the list can just keep on going. Though, it’s all coming to an end for us, and we’re going to turn the page, and we’ll be adults, facing the world. So, even though we’re leaving, they’re teachings will stay with us, hopefully. Look, there’s no promising I’ll remember how to roll the log later on in life. Nevertheless! the teachers have reached out, hoping to leave some words of wisdom with us, that might carry on later:

“It has been an absolute joy watching you all grow over the last four years! I wish each and every one of you all the joy in the world. Best of luck in whatever path you may be following.” -Mrs. Helbig

“Go out beyond the doors of HF and do good things. Keep moving forward knowing that you high school prepared you well for your future.” -Mrs. Goddard

“Always try to do your best and when you don’t, don’t beat yourself up- just move on!” -Mrs. Wiarda

“Seniors, stay close to the Lord and trust that he has a plan for your life. You are wonderful in His eyes!” -Mrs. Barger

“Keep your health a priority and remember that staying healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually will bring you happiness and success in all you do!” -Mrs. DeHerrera

“I wish I could come up with something great like St. Paul ‘Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.’ ” -Mr. P.Galmish

“My message to the seniors is from U2: ‘You can dream, so dream out loud!’ “-Mr. Havey

“To the Class of ’22, I am so proud of you and will miss you so much! Remember, ‘Be who God created you to be and you will set the world on fire’ Saint Catherine of Siena.” -Mrs. Vulcani

“Read, Reflect, Repeat.” -Mr. McGuiness

“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Proverbs 3:5-6” -Mrs. Remington
