Crumbl Cookie Review

Diego Gonzalez, Writer

Welcome to week 7 of the Crumble cookie review. The roster for this week was Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffin, Midnight Mint, Peanut Butter Ft. Muddy Buddies, and Key Lime Pie. The variety of flavor this week was great, and lucky for me all the cookies this week were good.

1st- Midnight Mint: Midnight Mint for me was a great surprise, as someone who isn’t really a fan of mint, the subtle taste of that fresh minty flavor that the cookie provided was a great complement to the rich chocolate base of the cookie. It also had a nice moist but solid texture which pushed it to number one for me over the key lime pie.

2nd- Key Lime Pie: I’m not a fan of most things key lime. With that being said this cookie has changed my outlook towards the world of key lime. This cookie by far had the best presentation, with the slice of lime on top it and the cream filling that sat on top of the cookie it really popped out when you opened the box. The base of the cookie had a nice cookie dough texture that was very moist and chewy, that went well with the filling of the key lime.

3rd- Peanut Butter ft. Muddy Buddies: While the flavor was good, the amount of peanut butter was overwhelming. The flavor was for sure good but the cookie felt too dry because of the thickness of the peanut butter mixing with the chocolate and Muddy Buddies on top. Definitely good flavors but the texture of the cookie was very thick and filling.

4th- Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffin: Going into this cookie I was very excited, I am a big fan of chocolate and oatmeal so I knew this cookie was going to be good. The oatmeal seemed to almost over power the chocolate, and on top of that it the cookie was too thick and dry. The cookie overall just seemed a little bland, it was missing something making it my least favorite cookie of the week.

Come back next week for another review of Crumbl!!!
