“What happens in Bakerville, stays in Bakerville” is the key saying of Ms. Baker’s English class. Spunky, quick witted, and incredibly smart, Ms. Baker has run a fun and engaging class for many years. Walking into her classroom was like walking into a completely different atmosphere, there was always a candle burning and several plants on the windowsill contributing to the homey feeling of her room.

Ms. Baker is an English teacher here, she teaches junior year American Lit and AP Lang, in addition to this, she runs the Mock Trial team. Her class is always full of fun, laughter, and that perfect blend of challenge and reward to keep it enjoyable all year.

Ms. Baker has chosen to retire this year after a long and full teaching career. She plans to move to Delaware and spend her time relaxing near the beach. Thank you Ms. Baker for everything you’ve done for Holy Family, and thank you for being a phenomenal teacher. You will be missed and envied for the amazing time you’re going to have in Delaware!
