Welcome back to another review. Today I decided to try something new and take a quick break for Crumbl but don’t worry the Crumbl review will be back soon. I picked Voodoo Doughnuts. They are famous for the crazy flavored doughnuts and the pink boxes so you always know there Voodoo Doughnuts boxes.
Coming in first place is the Captain Crunch Doughnut. This is a delicious doughnut with a basic doughnut base but frosted with an amazing vanilla cream frosting. It tasted amazing and then to top off the doughnut was real captain church cereal pieces, which made the doughnut that much better the crunch was able to balance out the sweetness of the doughnut. It is a bit of a mouthful so you need to cut it in half so then you can taste all of the doughnut. But overall this was amazing I would get this doughnut again and I highly recommend you go try it. I rate it a 9/10
Now coming in second place is Banana Cream Pie. This doughnut was no words but amazing. The Banana Cream Pie was a custard-filled doughnut and I love filled doughnuts I think it brings more flavor to the doughnut. This was a basic plan doughnut base but frosted with a banana cream frosting and topped with a slice of banana. When I opened the box the smell of this doughnut was amazing. I would highly recommend this doughnut but you have to like bananas. I rate this doughnut an 8/10
Moving onto third place with the M&M Doughnut. This was delectable and the perfect size of this doughnut. It was a little smaller in size which made it more manageable to eat. This is a basic doughnut base but frosted with an amazing vanilla cream frosting on top the best part was the mini M&M. The M&M added a perfect mix of the doughnut by mixing the sweet vanilla frosting with the chocolate M&M. The one downside I had was very sweet so you’re definitely not eating the doughnut all at once it will fill you up very fast. I would still get this doughnut again and I rate this doughnut a 7/10.
Now in fourth place was the Bubble Gum Doughnut. This doughnut I had really high hopes for because I absolutely love gum with my whole heart. It was a basic plain doughnut base with bubble gum frosting top with a wrapped actual peace of bubble gum. This just didn’t taste like I thought it would at all the flavor was just not there. But the gum on top was very good. I rated this doughnut a 6/10
Now in fifth place the Grape Ape. I am already not a fan of grapes because they taste like medicine. This doughnut was just a letdown just tasted disgusting if you are someone who doesn’t like grapes. If you are someone who likes grape-flavored things I recommend you try it but the flavor is too much grape. It was a basic plain doughnut with grape frosting a purple sprinkles I rate this doughnut a 5/10.
Finally in sixth place the Strawberry Go-tart. this is a Pop-Tart-inspired doughnut. This was another doughnut I had high hopes for because I love pop-tarts but this was a complete letdown. This was a strawberry filled with vanilla frosting a rainbow sprinkles. The frosting was delicious but the filling destroyed the doughnut why the jelly filling was ever in the doughnut is a mystery to me. But if you like jelly-filled doughnuts I recommend trying it. I rate this doughnut a 3/10.
