The Canadian singer Drake has abruptly canceled several of his upcoming concerts in 2o24. In his tour ‘Big As The What’ featuring Lil Dirk and J. Cole fans were anticipating for his concerts until he mentioned that he will be canceling several of his concerts, one being in the Ball Arena Denver Colorado and Memphis Tennessee. Drake has postponed this concert twice before in Denver Colorado, until the third time officially being a cancellation.

After several of concerts being postponed in the last year, the singer decided to continue his tour in February of this year, where again his featured guests were J.Cole and Lil Durk. His tour was supposedly to last until April. His three locations, Denver, Birmingham, and Memphis officially being taken off of the tour schedule.

So far, Drake has not released a reason to why he decided to cancel his shows in April, neither his representatives and Ticketmaster have responded to the rising questions. The BJCC declined to respond to all comments regarding the situation.

Tickets for this tour, especially Denver have been on sale since April 2023, and if the concert didn’t get canceled that means people from Colorado have been waiting almost a year for his (that’s if people bought them right when they released). Also, his tickets were insanely expensive for the seats, no matter what your seats were, they were still on the pricier side. His first concert which was supposed to be on September 8th 2023, got postponed a few days prior, “the distance the road crew has to travel along with the magnitude of the production of the Drake concert, it is logistically impossible to bring the full experience of the show to Denver this September.” Yet after that he decided to postpone it to January 18th and 19th, which then a few days before the concert he decided to postpone it until April 15th and 16th due to an ankle injury while he was on vacation in Turks and Caicos. He officially canceled now and we all wonder why? Why postpone it twice and eventually cancel everything just for people being excited and receiving the news that they won’t be able to see him, J. Cole, and Lil Dirk anymore.

I personally believe that it’s really unprofessional for Drake and his team to do this, not only to Colorado but to many states as well, where he has millions of fans. It’s known that Drake and Denver have bad blood, and he doesn’t seem to really enjoy coming to Denver, because he has scheduled his tours to Colorado before only for him to postpone and then cancel. So I say, we should all make a petition and cancel Drake for being inconsistent with his fans around the nation. I’m just kidding, but seriously dude why did you have to postpone it and then cancel. It’s upsetting but on the bright side we got automatic refunds and we didn’t have to do anything about it. See there are always good things to the negative things
