Ava Olsen – Volleyball – Texas Tech
In her four years at Holy Family she has been on varsity for only two years. In those two years she has made the best of the opportunity. Having 404 kills over her two seasons, 161 her junior year, and 243 her senior year. In her senior season she also accumulated 49 blocks, 125 digs, and 22 serving aces. In her junior season she was all league. She continues her career today in the State Playoffs as her and the Tigers play TCA at 11 and if they win they will play at 6:30 tonight.
Delany Watson – Volleyball – Belmont Abbey College
Playing on varsity for three years in her stint at Holy Family. Every year she got better and better, 86 kills her sophomore year, 92 junior year, and 187 her senior year. She had a total of 124 blocks, 36 aces, and 92 digs. Belmont Abbey College is in Belmont, North Carolina. Belmont Abbey is a top contending team Division 2.
Tea Whitlock – Soccer – Black Hills State
Tea has played all four years of her career on varsity. Although there is no stats given she has played very well in all four of her years. She played defenseman and did an excellent job doing this. She plans to go to Black Hills State in Spearfish, North Dakota, wear her sister plays softball.
Finn LaVelle – Baseball – Benedictine
Being his first year on varsity his junior year he had 18 hits and 11 RBI’s. Playing catcher he played in 22 games in there deep playoff run he had a fielding percentage on .986 and only one error during his junior year. Benedictine college is a division 3 school that competes in the NACC, one of the most competitive D3 conferences in the country. The school is located in Atchison, Kansas, which is just north of Kansas City, right on the Kansas and Missouri boarder.
Mary Kate Cavanaugh – Diving – Indiana
In her first two years at Holy Family she took 2nd place in state. She was a diver and did her dives from the one meter. After her first two seasons she decided to not dive through the school. Instead she began to dive with a club team. She is heading to Indiana University to compete on there dive team. They are in the Big Ten conference
Ivy Wood – Swimming – Lewis University
On varsity in all four years of her high school swimming career she did the freestyle. She has made it to the finals in many of her years. Being able to get to the finals is a very big accomplishment. She has chosen to attend Lewis University because she wants to get into the flight field. Lewis is in Romeoville, Illinois, which is just southwest of Chicago. The school is known for its flight school and that is why she will be attending. She has had a great high school career and will be able to excel when she goes off to Lewis.
