Throughout the years, the beauty standard as gone from heroine shique, to curvy, and now back to skin and bones. This new body trend is all thanks to the the viral weight loss tool, ozempic. Ozempic is an antidiabetic that is intended to stabilize the blood sugar of patients with type 2 diabetes. The modified use of this drug has been used by many celebrities looking for an easy way to drop a few pounds.

Despite it being seemingly easy to get your hands on, ozempic is a prescription drug. Its intended use is for people suffering with type 2 diabetes and can be dangerous to take as a weight loss drug. The drug has gained fast fame because it makes you drop pounds faster than any other safe weight loss aid.

Like any other Hollywood trend, rumors come with. However, some celebrities have spoken out about their own use of the drug. Golnesa Gharachedaghi talked about her use of the drug during an interview following the birth of her baby boy, Elijah. She said, “I am on the weight-loss shots, honey, OK. I’m just not going to lie about it because I always keep it real about what is fake.”

Comedian Chealsy Handler has also talked about the drug saying, “I’m not on it anymore. That’s too irresponsible.” She went on to say, “I’m an irresponsible drug user, but I’m not gonna take a diabetic drug. I tried it, and I’m not gonna do that. That’s not for me. That’s not right for me.”

Though some celebs have been open about their experience, there are many more than fans speculate have taken ozempic. Like any other rumor, the Kardashians are the center of the controversy. The Kardashians are knows for their curvy figure and big butts however, that all changed this year when the reality stars reversed their BBLs and starting taking the weight loss drug. Being one of the most influential families in America, it wasn’t long until the drug became mainstream.
