Question : What made you want to work at Holy Family and how did you get started here?
Answer : I have been here for 26 years now. I started as a receptionist. I wanted to work here because of my faith, certainly number one. I have also been a part of this community for a long time. It’s an awesome community. And there’s a long heritage because my mom graduated from here in 1963. My brothers and sisters also graduated from here. Then my three sons graduated from here and my oldest granddaughter attends Holy Family now. So, I would say the overall, the faith, the big community, and the long history with Holy are the main reasons as to why I decided to work here.
Question : Outside of school, what hobbies or activities do you most enjoy?
Answer : What I most enjoy is going to all my grandkid’s sporting events. I have one that plays basketball, I have a grandson that plays tackle football, basketball, and baseball. I also travel with them at times. I also like bingo. So sometimes I will go to Bingo with my friend Bernadette, but I dont go often because we’re both always busy and stuff, but I’ll go here and there.
Question : What is something about you that most students would be surprised to learn about you?
Answer : Probably my music taste because I really love the Rolling Stones and Led Zepplin. But I am kind of a hard rock person, and I enjoy the 70’s still to this day.
