Q-How has your golf game been?
A – “It’s been better than last year. I’ve been playing pretty good. I think my average this year is about a 77. And my lowest has been a 74 and I think I’m ranked 25th in 3A right now. Hopefully I can be all league. I am around top 20 in out league right now, which is good, but job is not finished. Gotta dial in for our last few tournaments. I have Coyote Creek, which is an easy course. Shot 74 there last year. Hopefully I can do better this year.
Q-During your free time, what mobile games do you play?
A- “Playing a bit of clash. Trying to get to 10k trophies. Not very close to 10k, but I just don’t put in a lot of time on that game because I’m playing a lot of golf battle. It’s a fun game. Really teaches you a lot about putting, and it’s just fun to grind out that game and just dominate the scene.”
Q-What is your favorite lunch?
A- “I’m going to have to go with the grilled cheese. You just really can’t beat it. The grease, it’s just really good. Overall great meal. Really gets me going. A lot of calories there. I put on some pounds, hopefully hit the ball further. I don’t do the tomato soup though, only the grilled cheese.”
Q-Who is the best teacher at Holy Family?
A- “Wow, that’s a tough question. So many good options. A lot of bad options. I am going to have to go with a sleeper pick, Frank Ybarra. Not many guys love him, but I found his class a lot of fun. He kicked out of class a lot, and I just went straight to the basketball courts, get some shots up. Really nice to work on my craft.
Q-What is your favorite past time outside of golf?
A- “Definitely playing Battle Front 2 or NCAA, just grinding on the Xbox. I think I’m close to level 200 on the heavy class on Battlefront 2. It’s pretty fun. Then over on NCAA I am rebuilding Kennesaw State. I moved them into the SEC so I could get that conference prestige recruiting perk up so that I could get more recruits. I got a 4-star the other day. It is just hard to compete against these schools down in the south because it means more down there.”
