However this relationship was different and kept more private. When Taylor announced she was dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce two years ago, it took the internet by storm. Many Taylor Swift fans and NFL fans have been keeping up with their relationship. Over the years she was seen with the Kelce family at big NFL games like the super bowl. Travis Kelce was also seen at the Taylor Swift eras tour.
Last week this couple announced their engagement. Their engagement was at Travis Kelce’s 6 million dollar mansion in Kansas. Travis Kelce carefully picked her ring and landed on a beautiful vintage diamond. This diamond is estimated to be worth $400,000 to $800,000. The couple showcased their engagement bliss at at the college football game between Cincinnati and Nebraska.
Kelce has been very open about his engagement on the recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast. He told his brother Jason Kelce, “It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.” Kelce says he enjoyed introducing his fiancé to his teammates. Kelce also says that he still gets “giddy” when speaking about his new fiancé.
It is safe to say that the swifties are extremely excited for this wedding. Thousands of people reposted the engagement photos on instagram and sent the couple well wishes. Kelce said, “That’s right, that’s right. And I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something and all the posts and all the excitement that’s been going on,” on his podcast episode last week.
