The Cherry Cricket launches its 4th Colorado restaurant right here in Broomfield. The Cherry Cricket officially opened its new location in Broomfield on August 26th, 2025 near West 120th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.
The Cherry Cricket has been an iconic Denver restaurant since 1948 serving customizable burgers with an extensive list of toppings. When looking for a new location, owners searched for the ideal spot in the Denver metro area to establish a new restaurant. They fell in love with Broomfield’s sense of community and vibrant atmosphere. The Cherry Cricket then decided that this would be the perfect location for their 4th Colorado location. Alex Bunn, CMO and VP of Growth for Breckenridge-Wynkoop, LLC states, “This grand opening marks both a milestone for our brand and a fun, fresh start in a space that holds fond memories for so many in Broomfield.” The Cherry Cricket promises to bring their original menu and casual atmosphere to ensure the same success as its previous locations and ensuring a good experience and lasting place for the Broomfield community.
With the grand opening of the new location here in Broomfield, the Cherry Cricket brings over 100 jobs to the community. This job list includes, full-time and part-time jobs, including many spots for high school and college students. As the restaurant gets closer to its grand opening more and more hires are necessary, giving students who are looking for jobs a fun and learning environment to start their first job with. Not only does the opening of this restaurant open a new, fun, and tasty restaurant for families to enjoy but it also opens up new job opportunities and a welcoming atmosphere for students.
As a kid I would go to The Cherry Cricket in Denver with my family for special occasions. I am very excited for a new, closer location of the same great restaurant opening, making the restaurant more accessible to attend. I am sure this is the case for many families around the Broomfield community, who enjoy eating at The Cherry Cricket but it was just too far to eat at often. With the grand opening last Monday, many community members are very excited to give it business and enjoy one of their old-time favorite restaurants.
