Mrs. Paciaroni used to teach at Benedictine College in Kansas and the Colorado School of Mines.
She is now a hall monitor, engineering teacher, physics teacher, and math teacher here at Holy Family. She chose to work at Holy Family because it’s a Catholic school, and since she used to teach at Benedictine, a Catholic college, she said “I wanted to stay in a Catholic environment.”
I asked her what her favorite class to teach was and she talked about how she loves teaching all of them equally. Her favorite thing about teaching here at Holy Family High School is the students because she loves getting to know the students and learning about them every day.
Mrs. Paciaroni talks also talks about her first day here and mentions how it was a tough and crazy day for her. On Mrs. Paciaroni’s first day here at Holy Family she had to be the hall monitor for the downstairs hallway and then had to go into teaching her first class. She was stressed but got through the day and was pleasantly surprised with how kind everyone was to her.
I also interviewed one of Mrs. Paciaroni’s students, Talia Satriano. Mrs. Paciaroni is Talia’s Algebra II teacher. I asked her what she thinks of Mrs. Paciaroni and she said, “Dr. P is a great teacher who knows what she is doing, and she is a great teacher because she is good at explaining things and it is really easy to follow her lessons. A lot of people may complain about the class, but I honestly love it. I feel like I am starting to understand math really well thanks to Dr. P!”
The students here as well as the teachers are very excited to continue to get to know Mrs. Paciaroni and learn a lot more in her class. We are so excited to have her and see what she brings to Holy Family High School.
