While AI can be controversial, there are some pluses to this discovery. Artificial Intelligence can do many things that humans can’t. Whether at school, in the medical field, or at home, any AI source can assist you with certain things.
For example, by using AI to assist our ideas or thinking process, we can use it to our advantage. Artificial intelligence has resourceful tools, such as writing, creating art, and analyzing conversations. In one click. So, while apps like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot can help you that fast, you’re gonna want to use it.
AI can hear and understand. In Forensic Science, some people could technically have AI detect gunshots. AI can also speak. Whether you want to hear the weather or debate, Artificial Intelligence can assist you with whatever task. “ChatGPT‘s training utilized over 570 GB of information, far surpassing what a human mind can grasp.”
However, being a student with this tool can be a tricky thing. Everyone in schools is aware of what ChatGPT can do for your grades. However, many times it’s forgotten that there are also tools to ensure AI is located within a paper/assignment. I feel like many kids will look up absolutely any homework question into an AI source and run with it. What I’ve realized is that a lot of the time, AI will give you a false answer or an answer that definitely sounds like AI.
Copyright is a big deal in not only the school community but in the real world as well. AI could 100% get you into trouble if used incorrectly. If you decide to ask your AI a question, and it helps you with homework, the best idea is to add that additional knowledge to what you already know to beef up the answer.
So, while Artificial Intelligence is new and popular, it can be dangerous, so always be careful!
