This week I took a trip to St Petersburg, Florida. Why were we there? We were able to Experience The craziest milkshakes I’ve ever had. Yucky for us, the yard has locations in Colorado, if we want a milkshake, we don’t have to travel so far. The yard in Colorado is located on California Street in downtown Denver. Now let’s test these milkshakes and see if they are worth the hype.
The milkshake I got was the Cookie Monster specialty milkshake. This milkshake is filled with blue monster ice cream and topped with a cookie dough sandwich, and the best tasting whipped cream ever. And also chocolate and blue marshmallow cream drizzled, and the cookies cropped to top this whole shake off. Overall, this is the most filling shake I have ever had and holy moly it is sweet. But well worth the sugar rush. Now with this shake, because the blue, it will leave your clothes, teeth, and turn them bright blue. So if you have anything important going on the next day, I don’t recommend you do this. I could not finish this shake because it was so sweet. The best part was that with these milkshakes, they are in glass cups and when you are done, you get to go wash your cup out and keep your glass up. If I had to give this shake a rating, I would have to rate it an 8/10. Just because it was extremely sweet and I couldn’t finish the whole thing.
Now moving onto the shake my brother got was the Peanut butter brownie bliss. This milkshake was a fudgy brownie sundae ice cream with chocolate and peanut butter drizzle in a peanut butter dipped jar rolled in dark chocolate shaving. And topped with a brownie, whipped cream, and chocolate and peanut butter drizzle. The one major downside of this milkshake was the huge brownie right on top of the milkshake, and the brownie didn’t taste very well, but as soon as he got to the milkshake, it was amazing, and if you love peanut butter, this shake is just for you. My brother was able to finish his whole shake because I mixed whipped cream into the shake so we could taste it more. He rated this cookie a 7/10.
Overall, these milkshakes were amazing, but I think they are over hyped and the best milkshakes are at Sugar Factory. But you need to experience the yard for the experience. So if you have a chance, go try it.
