With Christmas only 20 days away, Christmas music is taking over radios, so it is time to rank the top seven most annoying Christmas songs on Earth.
I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas is number one because you can not get more annoying than this. The girl who sings it has a very annoying voice and the song is pointless.
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer this is number two because the melody is annoying and has no Christmas spirit. The song is not a happy song and has nothing that puts you in the Christmas spirit.
Silver Bells is number three, for me, because the chorus is very repetitive which makes it annoying.
12 Days of Christmas is number four because it is also very repetitive and long and by the time you get to the sixth day you’re done with the song and don’t want to listen to it anymore.
Mi Burrito Sabanero is number five for me because I’ve heard this song way too many times that I can’t stand hearing it anymore. I think the song itself is pointless.
Deck the Halls is number six because it is literally “Fa La La” repeated with a few words in between each one.
All I want for Christmas is You is number seven because this song is overplayed and the words are very cringy. It is also on the list because, according to Mr. Yunt, every song by Mariah Carey is annoying.
It is true that any Christmas song, or any song for that matter, that is over played can become annoying but most of these songs are annoying even when you hear it for the first time and every time after.
This list is strictly my opinion along with a few suggestions from the Newspaper crew and Mr. Yunt.
