Today, I will be interviewing a fellow Holy Family High School student. Lauren Lopez is a junior here at Holy Family, and she has been here since freshman year. I asked her a series of questions, and these are her answers:
Q: How has your overall experience been at Holy Family?
A: “I love Holy Family”, she immediately answered. Lauren enjoys the lunch, the teachers she has met, and her great friends that she’s met along the way. Lauren also explained how she really appreciates the academic aspect. “It will set me up for success later in life, and for that I’m grateful.”
Q: What has been your favorite moment since you began school here?
A: The freshman retreat. “That was the start of it all for me”, she says. Lauren explains how on that day, she met some of her best friends and she instantly could tell the impact Holy Family would have on her.
Q: What has been you favorite class at Holy Family?
A: “Forensic Science with Mr. Martinez. I love Mr. Martinez’s classes because they are interesting and interactive.”
Q: What is you favorite lunch at Holy Family?
A: Laurens favorite lunch is the chicken sandwiches. “They’re so crispy and delicious. With a cherry coke and a cookie, that is the best lunch.”
Q: What was your hardest class?
A: “To be completley honest, Algebra A, sophomore year. Math is not my strongest subject, and I actually struggled in that class, so I’m glad it’s over.”
Q: What important things Holy Family you taught you since she started?
A: “It’s a lot” she explained, “I would say I’ve learned a lot about the Church for sure. I’ve also learned so much just academically and socially. I’ve matured so much since freshman year, and I feel like Holy Family is definitely majorly responsible for my growth.”
