As our summer tan lines are starting to disappear, self tanning is coming back on the shelves. Trying to stay tan in the middle of winter in Colorado could be hard but thats what the self tanner is for. It also allows you to have that summer glow without having that UV damage. While we morn the loss of our summer tans here are some of the top self-tanners.
The best over all self-tanner would be Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam for $26. As a brand, it is widely available, fairly affordable, and has a wide range of shades. It dries quickly, so you can put your PJ’s back on and get into bed within five minutes of applying a layer. It has a subtle coconut smell (to avoid that fake tan smell). And, Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam is a non-drying formula. It’s kind to your skin and any dry areas you may have; it doesn’t fade off in unsightly patches but rather more neatly and uniformly.
The best less-expensive quick-developing self-tanner would be B.tan I Want The Darkest Tan Possible. B-tan is the best drug store tanning option at the price of $10. It has green-neutral undertones, which means it especially complements those with cool-toned or olive complexions. I have personally used this tan and recommend if your just getting into self tanning.
My most recommended self-tan that I have used is Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse. It blends very well when applying and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. Also with any self-tan there is going to be a smell, some worse than others. But this tan smells amazing. It smells like coconut and has a very light smell of self-tan. I like to apply the tan the night before and sleep with it on. Some people wash it off the next morning but I find that the tan lasts longer if you try to leave it on as long as possible. Also with the smell not being so heavy its nice.
