With the Christmas season rapidly approaching there is no better way to get in the spirit than to have a Christmas drink. As always, Starbucks does not disappoint. Year round, there’s always delectable decisions to choose from. Recently, the switch from the pumpkin chai has happened, and instead we have mocha and peppermint to try out.
This year, we have a Peppermint Mocha, Cran-Merry Orange Refreshers, Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai, and a Chestnut Praline Latte. On top of these drinks, there is also pastries offered on the new temporary menu. Including a cranberry bliss bar and a snowman cake pop.
Considering the weather this past week, I personally think a hot drink is the most suitable. My first choice for a hot drink off this menu would be the Peppermint Mocha or the Chestnut Praline Latte.
If you prefer an iced drink, the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and the Iced Sugar Cookie Almond milk Latte taste the best. The new refresher drink is something I have not yet tried. I feel as if it’s not as “Christmasy” as the rest of the drinks that are offered, and also iced cranberry and orange doesn’t seem that good.
The snowman cake pop is superior as well if you would want something to eat.
The flavors, the cup designs, and the taste of Christmas make it very difficult for me to resist getting one everyday. I believe the Christmas menu is better than the Fall menu. However, both are amazing in different ways.
The minute the Christmas menu is released (Today), it is the definite telling that Christmas is approaching.
Every year Starbucks will give away some free stuff during the winter season. Tomorrow, November 8th, Starbucks offers a free red cup with any purchase. Make sure to try out the menu before it’s gone, which is usually in the second week of January. It is something that you don’t want to miss!
