Liam Payne, former member of the boy band One Direction, died October 16 at the age of 31. He was born in the United Kingdom on August 29, 1993.
Liam Payne has come out with one album called LP1. He has also come out with two EPs and 14 singles. When he was part of One Direction, he made five albums, 10 EPs and 17 singles. His last song that he had released was Teardrops on March 1, 2024.
One Direction, an English-Irish boy band, started in 2010 and broke up in 2016. They were first discovered on X-Factor in 2010 where they put five contestants, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, into a group to compete. They placed third at the competition and after that they became the well known boy band, One Direction.
On Wednesday, many were surprised to suddenly hear that Payne had died and they are all grieving.
Liam Payne died in Buenos Aires, Argentina after falling from his third floor balcony of his hotel, Casa Sur Hotel. He died of both internal and external bleeding and trauma that he had endured from the fall.
At first authorities did not know the reason for his fall. Five days after, autopsy has shown that Payne had many drugs in his system including crack and pink cocaine along with alcohol. Many assume this was the reason he fell off the balcony of his hotel, being high and drunk he did not have clear thinking and was alone in the room.
Liam Payne will be missed by many especially fans of both his music and One Direction. He will also be missed by those that were close to him from his former band mates. It sad how sudden these things can happen with no warning from friends and family to actors and singers that we may listen to or watch.
