Outer Banks returns to the air

Netflix dropped a new hit drama TV show April 15th, 2020 called Outer Banks. This show became nationally popular extremely fast because of the lockdown due to Covid-19. Outer Banks is now going onto their fourth season. Season 4 is expected to be split into two five-episodes with part 1 dropping October 10 and Part 2 dropping November 7.

Last we watched of Outer Banks was it had been 18 months that had passed since finding the gold in El Dorado. At the end of Season 3 there was so many turns of events and it almost made it seem that the kids weren’t getting any victories.

Executive producers and creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke, told Netflix Tudum they hoped fans would really feel the strength of the Pogues’ friendship.

“There’s all this action and adventure, but it’s really about the bond between the friends,” Burke said.

But most importantly he wants everyone thats watching to feel that friendship.

It is expected that the OG main characters are returning Chase Stokes as John B, Madelyn Cline as Sarah, Madison Bailey as Kiara, Jonathan Daviss as Pope, Rudy Pankow as JJ, Carlacia Grant as Cleo, Austin North as Topper, and Drew Starkey as Rafe.

Theres also some new characters come into the series. Mia Challis plays Ruthie a wild child that has a close relationship with Topper, Brianna Brown plays Hollis Robinson that is the biggest realtor and has her eyes set on Rafe, and many new characters.

After finding the gold at El Dorado, the Pogues return to the OBX and commit to having a “normal” life. They’ve built themselves a new safe haven, officially dubbed “Poguelandia 2.0,” where they live together and run a fairly successful bait, tackle, and charter tour shop. But after some financial issues, John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo take Wes up on his offer and are drawn back into the “G” game for a whole new adventure.

New enemies are coming into play this season and more of their problems are growing. Now they have to question their past, present, and future — and who they really are, has it all been worth it, and how much are they willing to risk?
