Mrs. Remington and Father John are taking a handful of students to Peru later this school year.
The trip will be during Spring Break of the 24-25 school year. Students will depart on Thursday, March 22nd, and return on Sunday, September 29th.
While on the trip, there will be opportunities to help the poor, work on the new buildings, and go to the local markets and see everything Peru has to offer. Also on the trip, there will be a little bit of labor involved, including things like adding to the building of a school or helping with building and adding to the staircases.
Hard Labor may sound difficult but do not let it discourage you. There will be days off and time for sightseeing all around Peru and Machu Pichu to make up for it. Mrs. Remington is going to enjoy taking the group of students to the local markets and shops on their days off and guiding them through this wonderful experience.
This is a really good opportunity for anyone interested in a missionary trip, and it will be worth it. Working with the poor and traveling internationally is very beneficial for the soul, mind, and body.
If you are interested in signing up, the first Zoom meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 6 p.m. More information can be found using this link: https://bit.ly/3QmR8V4.
Everything regarding the trip and funding will be explained in more detail during the Zoom meeting, so, make sure you attend. One last thing to remember is signing up. Only about 15-20 students will be able to attend, and it is first come first serve. So, if you know this is something you will be interested in attending, make sure to get your spot. This will be an affordable trip and students of Holy Family are highly encouraged to come.
