I sat down with my long-time friend Finn LaVelle to see what his plans are for the future. Here’s what he said:
Where are you going to college next year?: I’m going to Benedictine College in Kansas to play baseball. I’m also going to study civil engineering. I’m looking forward to it, it should be fun.
What’s your favorite memory at Holy Family and why?: I’d have to say it would be hanging out with my friends on the Senior Retreat. I really enjoyed sledding in our free time and going out to grill late at night.
Who was your favorite teacher and why?: I’d say it would have to be Mr. Brothers. He was really fun to have as a history teacher and I really enjoyed hearing his thoughts about the whole JFK situation. My advice would be to sit down with him one day and hear what he has to say.
What’s some advice you have for next year’s seniors?: Don’t procrastinate 2nd semester senior year. It’ll be fun, but remember you still have work to do, especially with Mr. Bishop’s term paper.
