Must Listens
In my opinion, there are three must listen songs on the album that are all very different from each other. The songs are unique and impactful because of their diverse features and quality production.
- Say Ya Grace (with Chief Keef and Lil Yachty): This song is not for everybody, but it blends an old school Cheif Keef vibe with a classic Lil Yachty trap verse which works together perfectly. The production is consistent with Cole Bennett’s catalog, consisting of immersive instrumentals and beautifully layered vocals.
- This My Life (with Lil Tecca featuring The Kid Laroi and Lil Skies): This track can be best described as nostalgic. The Kid Laroi and Lil Skies are both artists who have been mostly missing from the mainstream hip-hop scene for years. Their classic sound combined with Lil Tecca’s catchy chorus made for a beautiful performance that almost anyone would enjoy.
- Equilibrium (with G Herbo and Babytron): Babytron is an artist that non-rap fans may have never heard of and who has a style that many don’t like. However, his performance on this song stands out from the rest of his catalog. He raps a slow clever verse that is intriguing and calming, followed by a verse of a similar vibe by G Herbo. Together, they created a unique song that is enjoyable and interesting.
