One of the most popular games of the 21st century. Since Fortnite has started they have accumulated over 400 million registered users. They have also generated more than 9.1 billion in its first 2 years. The ages of people who play Fortnite are usually ranged form 13-35. Within the game there are events that they put on, and inside the biggest event they had more than 15 million concurrent players.
Season 1 of Fortnite first came out on October 26,2017. During the first season there was no battle pass but instead an XP progression where you unlocked new rewards. The season one Fortnite map including the following locations Pleasant Park, Loot Lake, Anarchy Acers, Tomato Town, Wailing Woods, Dusty Depot, Retail Row, Lonely Lodge, Greasy Grove, Flush Factory, Fatal Fields, Salty Springs, and Moisty Mire.
As season two came along there was a few location additions including Junk Junction, Haunted Hills, Snobby Shores, Shifty Shaft, and the most popular of them all Tilted Towers. 
At the conclusion of season two along came season 3. The only new location that came along was Lucky Landing. In season three there was a large blue meteor in the air and many Fortnite players had many speculations about it. Because of many clues in tilted towers many of the players thought that it was going to take Tilted down.
As we learn in Season 4 that the meteor did not in fact hit Tilted instead it hit Dusty Depot changing the name of it to Dusty Divot. Along with a meteor hitting Dusty there were small meteors that hit other places and only took out small parts of the town including Tilted and parts of the movie theater.
As season 5 came along Moisty Mire was replaced by a large desert and the new location was called Paradise Palms. In the northern part of the map there was a replaced town called Lazy Links. This was one of the favorite seasons of Fortnite played by many of the people.
Season 6. The Cube. During season 6 there was a big cube in the middle of Loot Lake and that was the big thing. It was a very mysterious event and people were very interested in what was happening.
Season 7 the snow began to fall, the whole bottom left part of the map is covered in snow. This season of Fortnite is based of Christmas. If you had bought the battle pass for this season you were given an early access to the mode Creative. The mode creative allowed you to go into a new map with just your friends and it was very similar to the game it was just your own friends. You are able to do whatever you want and the game would usually last about 3 hours long. You could leave the game early if you wanted to.
During season 8 and season 9 many people began to not play the game as much because of the constant change.
Season 10/X. As this season began many people were yet again unsure of what was going to happen after this season ended. The season was very interesting because the map had so many new changes and many updates that people were not very happy to see.
There has been many seasons since Season 10 but no one has been more excited for this week, November 3, when Fortnite has announced that they are brining back the old map. The old map is a fan favorite of many of the people who play Fortnite.
