Here we are again! This is part three of making my picks on what will happen in the upcoming college football weekend. I am yet to guess higher than a 50% and really starting to question if I should just give up on the series and find a new hobby in all.
I’m going to lean on the safer side of picks this week so hopefully they are at least all correct. Sometimes you just need to see one go through the hoop.
We start off Saturday morning at 10 A.M with the unranked Kansas Jayhawks hosting the number six ranked Oklahoma Sooners, I am not a huge Dillon Gabriel fan myself, but I would be silly to not take him and his Sooners over Kansas. For the score I don’t think it will be a very close game, so I am taking Oklahoma to win 38-13.
A little later in the day at 1:30, we have what might be the game of the week with extremely big bowl game implications, where we have the number 13 Utah Utes, hosting the number 8 ranked Oregon Ducks. I wish I could say that I was taking Utah, but with star Quarterback Cameron Rising still missing time from the knee injury he suffered. I am taking the Ducks over the Utes, in a game relying heavily on both defenses 24-17.
Now for some ACC football, we have two teams that no one was really high on coming into this season, but both have shocked a few teams and played well all year. We have the number 18 ranked Louisville Cardinals balling the number 20 ranked, Duke Blue Devils. If this game was being played at Duke, I would definitely take them over the Cardinals, but in close matchups, home field advantage works wonders, so I will be taking the Louisville Cardinals over the Blue Devils 38-24.
Everyone pray that these are all correct.
